Common questions
Is metal louder in the rain?
Over a solid deck with underlayment, a standing seam roof is not much louder than shingles inside the house. Over an open porch or pergola you will hear the rain, which many people enjoy.
Does metal attract lightning?
No. Metal roofs do not attract lightning, and they are non-combustible.
Can metal go over my old shingles?
In some cases. We will look at your roof and recommend the right approach, which is usually a tear-off for the best result.
What colors do you offer?
Black, charcoal, blue and many more depending on the panel manufacturer. We will bring a color chart to your estimate.
